Family Night is Friday June 18. You must pre-register to eat meals with your scout in the cafeteria. Bring your own food - just show up! More information confirming date and time will be posted here as available.  Sea Base 2004 departures in July! If you are going to Sea Base please review the crew assignments posted in the calendar for 7/5/2004 and 7/7/2004.
There will be a meeting at 7:00 on June 23 at FUMC for both crews. This will insure that all ship crews are ready, schedules confirmed, and final plans locked. Philmont Trek - 2005. After trying for 4 years unsuccessfully to win a spot in Philmont, the new sign-up procedure has finally given Troop 9 a chance to attend! If you are a Scout unit (like a troop, post, lodge, pack, team, etc.) then you automatically qualify for free space, to be used for your units web site. Your web space is limited to 2 megs, which is more than enough for a web site with several pages. Follow this link for more information: www.scouter.com/hosting/.
Here's another place to look for free web space if you don't mind pop-up ads appearing on your web pages. This page lists over 800 web hosts and is updated daily. http://www.free-webhosts.com/. Many of these service providers are not recommended for Scout web pages since you can neither control nor restrict the type of ads displayed.

Summer Camp 2004! Troop 9 departs for summercamp on Sunday June 13. Meet at the church parking lot at 12:00 p.m. for a target departure of 12:30. We will return on Saturday June 19 at approximately 10:30 a.m.
